TX, that's my aim, to fly it as slow as possible, the trick is to keep the AUW down and pick the dead calm conditions. For covering I use kitchen Glad Wrap, or more expensive Mylar.

No laser cutting, it's all hand cut with fine 'Stainley" blade knife and each cut and corners smooth out with fine sandpaper taking hours and hours of loving labor.

After having so much enjoyment scratch building and flying these indoor type models outdoors, I constantly create further improvements with each new build learning from the previous ones.
Currently working on my 12th. but totally new concept I thought of as an experimental prototype. Medium size compare to few earlier experiments but hoping for a lightest wing loader at some 2.35g with huge 70dm2 flying area.
"Koso-Tvor", ( Rhombus Creation) an appropriate tittle for this weirdo I believe will be a brilliant performer.
Few pics of the progress.

Initial drawing in the foam sheet before cut outs.

Main structure cut out.

Delicate frame sections.

Internal supports and plastic coverings in progress.

Dry check fit of parts.

Well, my latest "KOSO" creation did very well on its maiden function, despite being much tail heavier than an ideal, so after few more flights I have extended the nose slightly more fore to neut it, with a great flying results but still didn't like the squarish frame look of it, so further mods were done to the frame making it look more impressive.

Bottom half cure time.

Minimal use of carbon due to its unique frame design to retain the structual strength.

Maiden flight.

Slight nose extension to neut. the CG.

After CG improvement test flight.

Final touches.

"Koso" is ready for the next indoor function after securing the hire of my new indoor venue for a bit of variety from outdoors fresh air flying.

Getting lighter day by day, LOL. This morning maiden my latest, lightest creation, "Golden Winglet", 98grams dry, 114 AUW. So far my best effort at 90x98cm, out of 3mm foam sheet and CF bracing. Ideal set up for indoors but this morn took it out for 3 test flights outdoors. Brilliant flying model, even handled few minor puffs of breeze after sunrise.
Currently working on even lighter set up, same size, fully carbonized frame design, powered by the latest Coax power unit from T-Motors spinning 17&3.4 inch props on 1S.

My latest, lightest foamy Pattern 3/D design.

Power play at maiden.

Magnificent performer.

Sky's the limit.

My latest and lightest creation is well on its way, this time using carbon fiber for the whole frame, my target 99grams AUW as the first prototype, next one at 75grams running on 1S lightest power set up.

My new 3/D Pattern carbonized frame design.

Slow building progress.

Foil coverings and servo preparation on the way.

Touch of colour.

Slightly heavier then expected for hard core 3D after its maiden so I have swapped the power units to suit each model better. Easy fix.

Maiden run as Coax.

Slightly marginal for hovering and verticals.

Close up.

Now as a single prop with abundance of power.

Lively for any maneuvers.

Power unit swap with "Golden Winglet".

Getting lighter day by day, experience pays off. After my last two creations, "Golden Winglet and Ultra Light 3/D Pattern", both at some 120g AUW, running on heavier Dualsky Coax power I have changed the tack by switching to 1S off latest CR T-Motor, braking the 100 grams barrier with the latest build, the"Foamy Swallow".
Looking forward to complete an identical size frame with the same internal set up but this time fully out of Carbon Fiber to compare the two.

Golden Winglet indoors.

Ultra Light 3/D Pattern indoor maiden.

"Foamy Swallow" ending up lighter then expected at ~75 grams AUW.

New Carbon skeleton in its incubation state as a new challenge.
