I wanted the seats to be removable and also to have something to aid holding the pilots in so I have let in 4 brass inserts to the foam spacers which are glued to the floor. The seat foam spacers were glued to the floor. I also decided it would be cleaner to have the floor mounted centre consoles removal. I used magnets here, letting the inserts into the floor. The rear has two magnets and the front one as the nose unit acts as an anti rotation stop! I've added Velcro to the sides, so its just the pilots and control columns to mount.

Thanks again Dave for the pictures! So when you take the canopy off of the airframe do the 2 consoles come with the canopy?
It looks like the rear console is slipped into slots into the silver canopy insert.
Thank you.
Jonathan.

Yes, I fixed the consul and panel in the canopy frame. It stands on the two panels when it’s off. Normal operation of the model does not require canopy removal. I used a length of 20 swg piano wire glued to the back of the panel to support the front one. The rear the fibreglass consul was trimmed to fit between the canopy frame. Initially I silicon glued both in, but it did not adhere well, so I used a thin bead of hysol that can be cut if they have to come out at any time

If you still have the model, I’d suggest you change the tank overflow tube so that the Tyron loops up first before going out the overflow fitting. The way you have it it dribble fuel constantly when full. it will need a little more tub trimming, but it’s worth the time.
