David,
Well after almost 2 years since I bought the ECU Kit from Gaspar I was finally able to make the conversion on my PST J600R.
I set it up according to the latest update to the specs you made and it fired up immediately. It ran so well I' not going to make any changes.
Thank You!!!!!
Bob

I recently had had a few flameouts on one of my 1300s, some when taxiing with idle thrust.
Imvestigation revealed some unstable rpms and fluctuating pump voltages.
Eventual cure was was to replace the fuel pump, it had done a LOT of flying. Although I have not yet flown it, idle rpms are now rock steady +/- 100 or so, as is the pump voltage. David.

Kawasaki CFD Compressor Billet
I have a 1300... its crap.. converted it to xicoy.. runs better.. get major compressor stall anywhere near 11kg of thrust. I pulled tge compressor out and checked its map.. came out of a old to4b garret turbo. Wrong compressor for this job. I ordered a kawasaki cfd billet compressor same dimensions but much better efficiency. No more stall. Very fast acceleration. More thrust. Much better fuel economy.
Ill be converting my other one that does the same thing next for my f16.

XICOY FADEC ECU upgrade
I just recently came into possession of a PST 1300R turbine and I'm thinking about doing the FADEC upgrade. I just wanted to see if anyone had any advice on doing the upgrade. I was wondering if you changed the magnetic sensor and the thermocouple when you did your upgrade?
Thanks in advance, Carl

Pst 1300 Fadec
The conversion was very simple. It did not require a sensor change on my engines.
The figures I quoted earlier worked fine for both of my 1300s, nothing has been changed.
The engine now starts much quicker, about half the time of the TEMS, and offers a fuel valve option.
David.

Pst 1300
Just had a call from Paul, Turbine Solutions, after sending him one of my 1300s for a bearing change after some 40 hours.
Paul reported that the engine was like new inside, absolutely clean.
This engine, like most of my others, has been run almost exclusively on Jet A1 with 5 % BP 2380 and latterly with Turbonycoil.
As reported earlier, both of my 1300s and my two 600s have XICOY ecus which have made very good engines even better.
I am looking forward to many more trouble free flights with these engines, snd see how the starts go, now that a ceramic plug has been fitted.

Hi David,
That's excellent news. I decided to go ahead and do the upgrade with the XICOY ECU. Also, it's nice to hear that you have someone to do the regular service. I assuming that Turbine Solutions is TURBINE POWER SOLUTIONS LTD in the UK? I have found some one in the US that will do the regular service as well. Thanks for all the information.

Thank you!
Hi guys,
This is an old thread but as a recent purchaser of a PST 600 with Xicoy ECU that isnt running correctly, this is pure gold! This is my first turbine and theres a learning curve that these settings just made easier.
Thanks David. Hope your still flying

It seems PST have stopped producing these engines, they are rather dated and I am now moving to Xicoy. My JetsMunt Merlin, a Gaspar design, is a gem with Xicoy ecu and I have both a Xicoy 120 and 45 with a 90 on order, absolutely outstanding engines !
