I know I can go to Home Depot or to a local body shop and get them to match colors. What I wanted was to know if someone knew of any hobby paints (Model Master, WarbirdColors, etc) that matches the colors on the fuselage of my ESM DO-335.

Warbird colors are authentic as you know, however, I cannot answer if ESM actually used true authentic colors or something just close enough.
On the end, i'd be cheaper to go to home depot and get color matches then ordering warbird colors. You dont have to buy a gallon. I think the smallest size is like a pint now.

Don't know if the 335 is the same, but on the new ESM Fw-190 Dora, Iw as able to get fairly close ot the ESM colours with model master paints. They have a range of paints that are match to RLM specifications so you might also have the same luck.

Looking great there guys on the 335's and looking forward to seeing more videos of them flying.

I too found modelmasters paints to be a perfect match(on my esm 109)..for example, the cockpit area on the 109 have matched the rlm 66 "panzer grey"...unfortunatly, that is all I had to match, so its the only one I know for sure. But it matched like it came from the same bottle though! Perhaps you can get some modelmasters paint samples from someone to check against? Another choice would be to just order the colors you think they are to check...they sell 1/2 oz bottles for about 5 bucks...

U Da Man! Just like Jim’s bird, yours is one sweet puppy. Excellent flying and I loved the landing on full flaps—I was glad to see that; I now know how my will react.

Mine is still in the works; I’m working on a minor modification and hope to have her done by Mar 2012. Until then, I will enjoy yours and Jim’s and whoever else flies theirs before mine.
