Cheers Alan, i have been looking for a Capricorn kit for several years but with no luck . . . . not even a built model! i was stunned when i came across the International as i had never thought i would get hold of one due to it being manufactured in limited numbers. It has taken a while but i now have one, i am hoping it will not be too long before a Capricorn pops up and i will have that copied as well!

I have been helped quite alot by Paul Bardoe, he is very into his retro models as well.

As with the Bullet and the Chevron, the wings and the tail in the case of the International will be balsa covered.

well the silver one l have left is the original smaller Capricorn , depending where you are l could bring it over one day in the future and we could draw basic plans up for it if you like .

That would be very good! will hopefully have some progress on the copying process by then. It is planned to have the Chevron project finished before the nationals.

Talking to someone who can do the fuselage next week, he is expensive but does a superb job! which is what we all want. I already have someone to produce the wings and tail and the wood parts are easy as they will all be laser cut, as has been said in a previous post the wings and tail will be balsa covered and all manual/instructions set will be scanned so it can be sent with ease. I will be doing this as printing costs are expensive.

When i am close to getting a few done i will post here and build up a list of who wants one.

Sadly we i cannot seem to track down the copyright owner of this model so to produce a few kit parts is now not possible. A shame really as i have had a huge amount of intrest in this plane.

I think the last person making Capricorn kits was Mick Reeves. A chat with him might clear up a few issues.

After striking it likely and finding several Capricorn fuselages and one International fuselage, they have been put to good use. Progress has been slow due to work taking priority, but I am getting there. Pulled another from the mould today, have experimented with lay up and resin choice. Have been lucky to find fuselages produced for the Mick Reeves kits and the ones produced by Mike himself.

No chance of that, still much to do. The third one out of the mould will be flying very soon.

Hi, I had a few Moonglows many years ago and decided to scale it up to 2 metre size
here's a picture of the completed model

Yes, this is the second one out of the mould built by a friend. The International mould is still work in progress, due to work commitments.
