That’s stunning! I love the paint job. Did it come with the decals on it or did you apply them?

its the same CG... the SU30 without canard is the same plane in version MK or MK2, with xanard its version SM.
I wanted to make it very realistic, with a lot of inertia and very powerful weight for slow figures all in powerful. I put 2 Kingtech K260 G4. my goal was to reach 45 kg and it is 45.6 kg on takeoff and 46 kg with smoke cartridges. To increase the weight in a useful way I injected the wing keys, and the rudders of epoxy foam, then I made a lot of reinforcements by distributing the masses at the front and at the rear, to have an effect balanced to make the cobra very realistically and the other figures specific to the SU. I did an F16 identically and its flight is the same as the real one!

For the setup, Jeti CB 400, cortex pro, servos Futaba A700 for elevators connected on cb slots and alimentation on 2 bec of CB400 in 7,0V - others servos are in 6,3v Savox 2290 for flaperons - and slats and rudders hitec 7955TG, Hitec Hsb 8380TH for steering.
For Air system Evojet orbit valves
For lights system Unilight for all lights and afterburner Night Fly
I make important modification for rudder horn in Alu 7075T6 CNC
All fuel system Intairco
Oil Landing gear Silicon 2000 is perfect

this is my setup

Finally i maidened my su-30MK (without canards)
Wow!! It s incredible!!!!!
Maidened with a frank ft220 plus ft180..... No asimmetric at all.... 100 metres very short runway.... Landed in clean configuration in less than 75 metres.... And with a lot of remaining fuel!!!

I CONFIRM CG IS NOT THE SAME AS SU30 WITH CANARDS... I WAS NOSE HEAVY....MUST CHANGE A BIT AFTER....

No i just made the maiden flight with the CG exactly on the front spar, then in the afternoon i broke my leg .... So next flight will be in a month at least...
I think 1 cm behind the front spar will be perfect...

Here is a wing of a SU30 carf without canards.
the red cross represents the approximate CG of the SU30 skymaster with canards.
The green cross is the CG of the carf without canards.
I did my 3rd test flight by removing more than 1KG in the nose and it was pretty good. In back flight i have good sensations. I will redo several flights to validate the CG and have it validated by experienced members of my club, and I will communicate it
but its more than 1 cm behind..

Hi
Anyone knows why there is a warning in the manual that indicates that a gyro should not be used in the elevators?
It specifically mentions Powerbox Gyro, but assume the warning is for any gyro in elevators... ?
