We have a 423 acre site with a couple hundred cleared. Everyone can find a nice RV parking spot. Check out this video. It gives you a great idea of the site. Only thing is it includes the Jet Rallies as well as other events we run each year, and we recently doubled the length of the asphalt pit row to 400'. What you see in the video is only 200' .

Why would anyone do that? The only people who have sugested it it are the 24/7 hate media. I still think anyone who heard that should drink copious amounts.

Play nice boys!

Well, today we warmed up the runway. We had a mini-rally and the 6 of us got in about 25-30 flights. 77 degrees F with the 0-8 mph winds mostly right down the runway. It was a great dry run to try out our distancing, etc. too. The only person who had a bad time was the guy who crashed his motorcycle out on the highway! Have not seen such an amount of traffic since last summer. Guess it was kind of a mini-blessing of the bikes weekend, too. Lots of IL, OH and IN plates in town lately.

The guys are already looking at next weekend's weather forecast for another potential mini-rally. It was really nice to see and sit & B.S. with some of our "jet guy family members!"

Wow you don't even know me and your accusing me of being a part of the hate media... that's funny I am totally not! How did you make that "Left Turn" on this thread.... like Len said please play nice!
Nick is a good friend of mine and I was talking about some good booze that he may occasionally bring to events for evening festivities, and Nick not a bad cook either!....

I know Nick liked good steaks. But I did NOT know he was a good cook. We may just have to put him to work!

No problem, as long as we have a good grill, I will bring the Greek seasoning souvlaki and tenderloin. Len give me the count as we progress closer to the event. See you all soon.

I might have this with me strictly for virus killing use only 😀 , this is the only one that could be applied on and under the skin, will fight all types of viruses 🦠 and this type of medicine was proven in many countries with great results .

Sebastian, you have been holding out on me... the Polish liqueur you left at my Camper last October was weak! only 32%, but then again that was pre-Covid-19 days, now you have to step it up a notch!

I have been scramblin' this morning to contact all our past national sponsors and about 20 or so new potentials. With our past sponsors' continued support, we can have a great Pilot's Raffle. Oh, … Wait, … Just added a new one.

Well that is too bad hearing about JOK today. I was planning to go down and learn the "JOK Ropes" from Lewis. Anyway, we are still a go for June 11-13. Added four new national sponsors this week, too. We'll see how that affects the Pilot's Raffle! The local bank owner asked us how they could help with our marketing costs. Lots of folks up here are itchin' to burn some Kero too. We have had enough people contact me to reconsider the Storage Tent. If we do a tent, we may have to up the pilot's fee back up to $35 to help the few folks who typically finance the tents for us. Still no change on sit-down restaurants until MAYBE that Friday. But food Plan B will work. For all of you coming, I wish you a safe trip!

Well, ... I have heard from over 20 of us indicating that they are coming. Also, Nick called today. He is planning to provide a pilot's dinner Friday evening. His menu sounds really great! Thnak you Nick!

I have been working on the new BVM L-39 all day today and most of yesterday. Other than a couple fuel connections and a additional Header Tank, I should have it ready to go by the end of this weekend. Although, … we may have a mini-rally Saturday and I am taking the Grandson flying tomorrow, both of which could delay things a bit.

By the way, there are a couple folks coming in on Wednesday afternoon. Looks like we may start a day earlier than scheduled.

We should have an accurate count from "The Windy City" after Saturday, Len. We're at 6 and counting...…..!
