But...... Could somebody out there try to explain to me why there are no servos on the canards?

Why is this system with dampers better than controlling them...

But if I understand this right, the canards are not active, but are hanging there in the airflow (with dampers) like a flag.

My question is...

Why are not the canards made active by using servos.

If I understand this right, they are just hanging there ( with dampers) like a flag in the airflow?
