I think it has to so with the total mass of the valve and spring. I race a small motorcycle with a four stroke engine. It turns 14500 rpm. I limit it there because the power stops climbing at 13500....

It was 14.00 and seems OK. No don’t need the muffler. And I havd to use the original pipe to mount this one. Now I have the other end to make something out of. I can weld up something cool .

J’TEC muffler

I am putting a FA 80 in a Phoenix Strega. Mk2 I don’t want the muffler hanging out the side. So I put a J’TEC slimline muffler on it. Anyone ever use this muffler? It fit very well and looks good.

Thanks. I can’t wait to get this one going. It was my favorite engine. I love the 80 but the 65 seems to be the perfect power level for some models .
