I was happiest running an 11/7 MA on my old OS 40 FS (Pulling a 5 lb. Balsa USA Taube) so I guess a 10/6 or 10/7 would do well on a 30.

That was my method on the OS FS-60 Four Stroke when vertical. Choke it three times then flip it a few times before removing finger. Then hook the battery and bump it backwards. Worked every time.

I think mine was transsubstantiation. With the fuel lines cinched with bailing wire. The only way would be for the bubbles to pass thru the walls of the tubing.

Every time I've had bubbles in the fuel line it was either an out of balance prop foaming the fuel or a leaky fuel filter, but the chewing up lots of fuel has me stumped...

I just wondered how much hotter the gas runs, than the nitro.
I've heard that the normal temps for gas is 210 - 220 F and the FG11 is running at 221 on a 93 degree...

I've done the conversion back in '88 on my OS 120 but back then we had a mechanical advance on it and ran on cool power. No gas carbs for OS then.
Still, it worked very well on the quarter...
