the magnifying glass worked well..the chamfer is on the same side as the dimple on the GS45 conrod, I thought I would have noticed that dimple had it been facing the back when I took the back plate...

thank you for providing that link , I enjoyed re reading that thread..but it gets me how focused everybody got that it was a static test without benefit of inflight knowledge...those test tell me...

I love the 40, so I will look up the prop thread..I am really interested in getting this engine to wake up..I will get out the magnifying glass and have another look..although it will be more...

I know what you mean about the performance..I actually like my GS40's much better...this engine will become an experiment, when I get the replacement rod I will run the engine in, and then modify the...

Can any one tell me which way the conrod sits on a GS45, I accidentially dropped the rod and piston out before i had a chance to notice,didn't really expect it fall right out like that..I noticed the...
