Got to test fly F-16 number 2 after a summer off to fly pattern. 3 flights here at home then headed to Pensacola Jets to fly of their fantastic runway. 4 more flights at PJ.

Andy,
I will post some pictures of mine tonight when I get home. I went through the same thing and if the cylinders are mounted as shown, the travel is not near enough and the door is too flimsy...

Thanks for the picture Tor. I am using the Matrix landing gear and believe the gear door has to be open a little further due to the larger tire size, that's what's getting me. I'll get there.

Gear door cylinders:

How have you guys managed to get the main gears doors open enough using the stock 1.5" stoke cylinders? I have had to go to 2" stoke and completly change the pick off point...

Gerhard,
Would he be using the Weatronic RX with one or two gyros? I plan on using one on the rudder and one on the ailerons. I will not be using the elevon setup.

I think you said in some post back that you were using a gyro or gyros on the elevons. Could you share what gyros and are they on both pitch and roll axis. Do you use a stick priority...

I too am working on an F-16, Thunderbird sceme. I have some questions. I am planing on flying mine with ailerons, I could always lock them neutral and switch to elevons even by switching conditions...
