Thanks Joe, and to follow up on this same subject, do you, or anyone else here, find it necessary to mix in any down elevator when you drop flaps ? If so, how much ?

Been building big, heavy, and fast giant scalies for years. The strongest hinge that I have ever found, is a DuBro giant scale flat hinge epoxied in place, and then pinned vertically.

I think that you will find most guys using the stock aluminum spar.

I guess a lot depends on your turbine size, and how much you plan to horse it around. :D

Now regarding re-covering, perhaps using fiberglass and paint, how much weight will this airframe tolerate ?

Did any of you have to grind away on the fiberglass fuselage bump above the turbine to accomodate the starting motor ? I've been checking the Pics in this thread, but can't see any real evidence...

I have just finished reading Dick Pettit's review of the Falcon 120 in R/C Report. In it I see that he uses two big flat washers under the screws that fasten the horizontal stab between the two...

Starting to put some fuel delivery components into the fuselage today, just ahead of the tank. UAT, pump, solenoids, filters, on/off valve, Festos. Ain't no way that I can reach them wing hold...
