hi guys,
something I should have mentioned earlier, for the "o ring" under the velocity stack I use a slice of silicon tubing of the correct diameter, does the job nicely and has a flat interior...

Re O ring for velocity stack, I found a piece of silicone tube the correct diameter and sliced a couple of mm of it. Perfect fit and parallel inner face.

Jimmy,
remember to wait at least 8 seconds or so after adjusting the low end needle before testing transition, many newbies to four strokes and Saito's in particular forget this.

Saito P2 plugs were discontinued quite a while ago, just get yourself an OS "F" plug, they're not cheap but '65's run well on them even with 0% nitro.

I use a Kavan geared starter with all my engines except my BIG Tigre, small light and powerful, but appears expensive when you see the size.

visited Graves RC in Orlando and come home with a FA-80GK, it's going into the Harmon Rocket III so the FA-65 will be back to it's other home in a Flair SE5a.

regarding the bits in the thread about restricting the slimline pitts muffler, I would have no qualms about doing so, because. I used to build rally car engines which aren't that different...
