RE: [Awaiting Approval]

I found out pretty quick that giving it a gentle flip backwards was the best way to start it. Unfortunately, since the plugs are hot all the time, you never really know whether it's going to kick...

RE: [Awaiting Approval]

On a positive note, I picked up a used electric starter with a 4:1 reduction...

RE: [Awaiting Approval]

Thanks... I'm debating whether or not I want to tackle this. Anybody in the Georgia/Alabama area that might want to tackle it for a fair price... send me a PM. I still have the paint, fabric, but...

RE: [Awaiting Approval]

Bad day at the field.

I took the Waco out, and one of my landings was running long. I should have just let the plane run straight off the runway into the weeds, but I acted before I thought......

RE: WACO YMF

Thanks.. I thought that was the case. With those big fat wings, it's gotta climb with airspeed. This is a whole new style of flying for me, and I'm moving my left thumb from side to side more than...

RE: WACO YMF

question to the bruthas....

At full throttle, should the plane climb? Mine floats around nicely at mid-throttle, and lands like a trainer, but at full throttle, it likes to climb. Is this...

RE: WACO YMF

I took my Pepino to the field today, first really nice weather we've had in a few months. Spend about 20 minutes getting it set up, flying wires attached, etc.. fueled it up, drug it to the flight...

RE: WACO YMF

I was working the flight line at the October Huckfest in Atlanta last year, it was the first time that Mac had the new B-29 out for a show. He had 4 DA-85's on it then, but wasn't happy with it. He...

RE: WACO YMF

That has to be the best $50 biplane I've ever seen... and the worst! I was wondering if it had enough power to get in the air, but it looked like once it did, it flew pretty well. Should be a good...

I'm sure if I were closer to Idaho... we could arrange something. I guess you'll have to come down and get me.

RE: WACO YMF
