RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

The Dawn stuff (http://www.dawn-dish.com/en_US/powerdissolver.do) comes in a spray bottle (not aerosol; the kind you pump with your fingers) and is very good at dissolving baked on castor goo. And...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

When will you know?

:D;) Just kidding! I couldn't see how it would matter either, but didn't want to make any stupid assumptions.

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

I was lucky enough to get them both off without losing them. :) However, I think I'll use the bag idea when I reassemble them. Right now I'm using some Dawn Power Dissolver and q-tips to clean the...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

So just leave the head alone? What about the valves themselves. Can I cook them in antifreeze overnight or perhaps hit them lightly with a scotchbrite pad? Or should I just leave them alone also? ...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

I know the answer must be in this thread somewhere, but 601 pages means the search is pretty useless, so here I am. :) I'm replacing the cylinder on mu 'hunnert and am preparing to pull the valves....

Thanks for the speedy reply. If I had just thought about it for a minute, I might have been able to conclude the same thing. :) The fact that the nut is on the OUTSIDE of the carb body...

I tried searching this thread, but with 468 pages, it's virtually impossible to get anywhere, so I'll just ask here and hope no one takes offense. I picked up a low-time Saito 100 for a...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Hello all. I tried searching the thread, but must not have used the right words. My Saito 100 suddenly won't advance past 1/2 throttle without going lean and quitting. It has run flawlessly for...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

w8ye,

That is the same stack that fits the 100, right? I just received my new 100 last week for a Mojo 60 and am very happy to now be a member of Club Saito. :)
