Yes it is common. If the engine is primed correctly you can spin
the spinner bacwards with your fingers....the engine will pop, and

....double check to see that the tank is isolated against vibration. You are describing a
fuel foaming situation. It is possible, that a plane sitting on the ground is dampened...

....10% nitro is good for the S.T's. Choose a fuel containing plenty of castor oil
for your S.T.'s....they will thank you for it. Synthetic oil fuels will make your engine
run hotter than blended...

I had great luck with my three Super Tigers....I had a .45 ABC type, a .61 ringed
and a 3000 ringed. I do have a Magnum carb on the 3000, because the one that
came with it looked like it came off...
