I forgot to mention that the front pins need to match the slope angle of the front windshield/canopy area in order to go in easy. see last photo on right.

More canopy pics. What's nice about this arrangement is there is no tools required, takes only seconds to open, and is very solid and sound. The only thing in view is the rear pin.

The canopy attachment was made front making a 3/32 medium balsa sheet floor that follows the contour of the fuselage where the canopy fits. As you can see from the photo, hard balsa stringers are cut...

On another note, I had to add about 11 oz. of lead to the nose to get it to balance. The combo of the extra weight in the nose, plus the weight of the OS 1.60 w/muffler as opposed to the OS 1.20...

Here are a couple belly shots. The small black dots inside the main wheel wells are rubber bumpers so the gear doesn't slam the plastic liner.
