Personally, I would keep them on methanol fuel, but convert to CDI ignition. It’ll save you on fuel, and more stable operation. The owners manual probably doesn’t say it, but you can use 15% oil...

I agree on a 10x6 for regular running and a 9x6 for breaking in if it hasn’t been run or was recently rebuilt. If it’s ringed, keep it limited to 16,000rpm ground peak. If it’s ABC, you can let it...

The SuperTigre 4-stroke you speak of was quite an interesting piece of engineering. From the thread found here on RCU, it appeared to have front rotary valve crankcase induction which is atypical of...

The 7D is a different animal to a heli carb. Heli carbs are often metered rich in the midrange because of the rpm they’re operated at in relation to the load they’re under. A heli carb on an airplane...

All S90s are ringed. If it’s in good serviceable shape, you might get $40 for it sans carb. If the 3-needle carb is from a Heli, don’t bother. It will not run right on an airplane engine due to being...

Picco is still in business as well, but catering to the buggy world only. PAW Diesels are still made as are a number of other companies in Europe and such.
