I just got a notice from Tower canceling my Super Tigre back order. Super Tigre is no longer listed on Towers website. Well dang.

cj the ST 75 well be plenty for your P40, watch for overheating if you have it in a cowl.

Pulled the engine out of the Cub. Pulled carb apart, cleaned and sealed everything as I reassembled it. Installed on test stand and fired it up. Still leaking on HS needle, hmmm? Wrapped needle...

Still having problems, leaking fuel around the high speed needle. tried new needle , same problem.
When we first set the high speed the thing ran great, 10,400 11x5. One of our instructors took it...

My Evo 455 turns a 11x6 13500 rpms and thats running a little rich, I thought the 40 would at lest swing a 11x6 10500. But I`m a newbie, what the heck do I know lol.

I broke it in with a 10x6 but didnt have the tach then. GS40 this is the link that talked about the different prop sizes. The first half gallon of fuel was omega 10%.

I have 2 SuperTigre GS.40s, one on a Goldberg .40 Cub with a Bisson Pitts muffler and one on a Sig LT40 with supplied muffler.
Both have had a 1/2 gal of Coolpower 15% run thru them on the test...
