we modified our wing to be two piece, its really pretty easy to do.

Thanks! It will be painted like the Banshee we posted above, but we're going to fly it in primer first, probably until the end of this season.

The plan is to maiden it at Ky Jets after hours,...

Shepp,

Those are actually Ziroli Panther tip tanks - ABS from Ziroli. We are going to use the Panther canopy on the Turbinator too.

Here's the Banshee style Turbinator so far...

The wings are glassed. I hope to finish the inlets tomorrow. After that, we are going to sheet the fuse in 1/4" balsa so we can round it out a bit...

Thanks for the tips. I was also thinking of making a hole in the ply floor under the tank so I could put a bubble downwards too to act as a sump...

Yea, the key phrase is "hopefully will resemble"... :D

We're going to leave the tail in the stock position and also leave the wing in the stock shape - I'm no aircraft designer and I don't want...

I hope you can make it down to Kentucky Jets, its well worth the 8 hour drive (about 9 or 10 for us). We'd love to see your Iskra Turbinator there. My son and I are building one that hopefully will...
