RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Be careful when mounting the velosity stack if you squeeze the o-ring it might protrude (bulge) into the carb opening some, especially it isn't positioned properly. Check by looking inside after...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

The 125 is the best all around engine saito offers. It will fly on a 50-120 size airplane and pulls very well.

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Question for the Saito Gurus. I just traded for a crashed Saito 180 with some carb damage. Which direction does the spring behind carb go? I took a 180 carb apart to replace broken needle valve and...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

I use to set my Saitos for the lowest possible idle but now I think it needs to be just a little rich for fuel flow on the high end and cooling during idle. The low needle can restrict fuel flow on...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

I have seen a 72 fly a SIG Ultimate 40 profile and it will pull it well but as stated keep it light or you will know it. A 45 can barely handle this plane vertical as I flew one for 3 years with a 46...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Give this a try and let us know how it works out. I usually just run my crank vent tube out the bottom. I don't notice much residue on the airplane related that that. One thing to keep in mind is to...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

jb86, the Funtana 90 need a lot of power and the 120 or 125 is just barely big enough. The 150/180 is much better. The 120 will hover the plane buy not by that much unless you are useing the 30%...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

Dear Bill (William),
You sure know your Saitos. I have at the present several Saitos (65,72,80,91,180) and all are great engine. The only thing I wish Saiot would do is raise their compression a...
