Ok....Used the method by blowing into the carb with a short piece of fuel line....Was much simpler than I thought...

Thanks a bunch...now the only question I have is...Am I supposed to have done...

Yes....if I put my finger over the venturi while running..it will die if I hold it there...also....If I pinch the furl line...it will speed the engine up....

Found a Google hit on St carb...

I have a New older ST 40...Round cylinder head..Made in Italy...just tried to run it in today....using 10% ..20% castor..Hooked
everything up and it fired right up...it would not..NOT ..respond to...
