I love the sound also, as I have one in my 1/4 scale DVII. A great motor for that plane. The only problem is that when a gasser starts up and gets air born, I can't hear the Saito. Its too quiet...

I have Run the Magnum .91 fs, and for the money, its not a bad motor. It is a tad low on the horsepower when put up against the O.S. and Saito's, but you can get 2 magnums for the price of one...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

I have to agree with JDKExtreme, I was using a 20 x 8 Zinger prop on my Saito 2.20, and had no complaints. Looped for level flight at 3/4 throttle. I put on one of the XOAR WWI scale looking...

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

WOW....sorry about the size of the picture. I will have to be more careful. Yes, it's a Basla USA kit. And I really do not mind the gassers. Iwas just amazed by how quiet the 2.20 really is....

RE: Welcome to Club SAITO !

I think that the only problem with my Saito 2.20 is that it is TOO QUIET! I get it up in the air and a big stinky gas motor fires up. I can't here the soft purr of my Saito over the racket. Boy...
