there are other turbines you could go for that are cheaper. Modellbau-usa has the T-500 for $2000, robart offers the funsonic turbines for $2200, and altecare has the behotec turbines for around...

i would say no, the extra weight would put more strain on the airframe and landing gear, not only that but the stall speed will increase with the excess weight making the plane much harder to fly.......

Yeah, I thought about that after I hinged mine, I can probally get a little over 40 degrees though, but I wish I would have done mine like yours, would have been nice to at least expirement with.

nobody has mentioned it, but how can you use CA hinges on the flaps when it is impossible to CA them from the top? As for now I put Robarts on my flaps, and heavy duty CA hinges on the ailerons and...

Kevin, looks like your using a lid from a regular Dubro type tank, did you just drill a hole in the cap?

Got mine yesterday covering was not soo bad, but I remeber my 50 size one was horrible, I actually forgot how bad the covering on the 50 size one was till I just read your post.......One thing though...
