Cowboy, Solar Tex/World Tex are the greatest covering But I don't think they are glow fuel proof. I just use a top coat of T F clear
or use Rust olum. I think Krylon has a much better nozzle. I M...

rcboatomatic, Dave what I've done is sandwitch the rod between2 pc.''s of maybe 3/32 balsa & then sand that to a airfoil shape. Out at that thin edge you could also put a small piece of 64th ply top...

Jaybird, I think the reason young men aren't building is they have more money then time .
Plus look at the quality of the ARF's.

Dash7ATP, I use Krylon and then topcoat with Top FLIGHT[ Tower hobbies] Lustercoat clear. I use mostly gas but if I went to glowI'm still OK. It works for me.

Joe, The MAN on Latex is Roy Vallencourt. I would have the same concern, except you seem to have a good base.

CHUCK 1,When I use Solor or World Tex I just iron it down. I have found that it's better to shrink it with the iron and not the hot air gun whitch can be overdone.Thats what works for me. Bill

mrdhud, I use aceatone to clean off the oil. I also use LustreKote [Top Flight from Tower ] as a clear coat on my Solor Tex.

Joe, You might think about, that ironing the Solor Tex over Kover all might shrink your kover all.?? I haven't done it just a thought.
