isaacslaw, it sounds like the tank was over-filled, overflowing into the muffler. The engine then started and ran backward for a bit.

Gene, if your 4*60 is an ARF, I'd consider a .91. My ARF was fairly tail heavy and the heavier engine helped to balance it without adding weight to the front. I don't think the kit builds as tail...

I've wondered before it relative humidity has any bearing on the amount of smoke. I've noticed my engines smoke more on some days than others.
