Yeah I have been looking at the Evolution brand also. Their .52 is the same price as ST .51.
I have had OK luck with ASP. But would go with a used ringed ST first if I stumbled...

Not any faster as I stayed with a 6" pitch. But man the climb out was really impressive.

All of ST engines have been on backorder order status for several years now. Same for parts.
Don't believe I have ever seen an explanation. We may never see one at this point.

Not that much different than what I run my 3000 on. When I get that plane going again I'd like to go to spark ignition on glow @ 10 percent castor. Going to some time before I can even think about it...

Wasn't aware that ST ever made a four stroke. I have a ST 3000. Once you figure out how to back flip start it and that it likes low oil, nice engine. Perhaps a bit mild in the ponies.
