The proper way to install a bearing is a press. If heating the housing and cooling the bearing do not work for assembly, the best way is to use an arbor press.

w8ye, only the muffler is painted. It is not the GK version. This is a '80s vintage FA-65.

Here is one like it (if you look closely around the pressure tap, this one appears to have been painted...
