One more thing! I took another look at your second pic. Looks that this former also hold the wing rods. Try to minimise the change of the alingments of the wings rods.

Here you go. With a heat gun apply small amount of heat to the former edges to soften the glue. WARNING: Be careful not to heat too much the fuselage skin. The heat will cause the glass to soft too...

Ok, once again I have not own this 16 but I'm learnig very slow some build tricks here and there. I have a better view now w/o the LG on. Definetly the fromer is twisted. If is too much work to loose...

To me looks uncentered. Does the LG mounting holes for the screws were allready done at Fact? That's why we alway do a pre fit of the parts before drilling any unwanted hole. You will need to remove...
