Well, yah - I do.
But I've only got one at the moment. A 180, which will hopefully be fitted to a '109 in the not too distant future.
I'd love a Saito radial, but a bit out of my price range just now. Maybe some day?

That one was my biggest toy growing up, it weighed 10,000 lbs the way it sits there. Stock it had 61 hp, equipped with an M&W turbo it had 83 hp. The front wheels had weights inside and out and still I had to build an angle iron box for the front and place several cylinder heads in it to keep the front on the ground when pulling a four 16" bottom Case semi mounted plow.

You guys have selfishly wandered way off thread,i'm grumpy
Ground looped a saito today trying to land short after a big brown out,had one in my underpants too.Out of interest i ran a brand spanker new fa82 in today,it was short and sweet pulled rich mid nines on a 14x6 mas.From new the needles were much closer to what you would normally expect when run and tuned properly,anything changed at the factory? the low speed needle stayed flush with the bevel,very good throttle response and idle.

Glad the break in went well Pete, yeah, we're allowed to kick a little bs around now and then, over a brewsky. I am going to pick up a 1.00 twin as soon as my taxes are done. I'll, of course report it here. I don't currently have a twin, I already have the two TurboHeaders for it.

You are right again,how could you do that?..
TR3's are very pretty cars and sound nearly as nice as a tr6.Do you ever wonder who won when it comes to designing the most pigheaded unreliable badly routed(that means r--ted in australia)electrical systems,the italians or the english?
Dave from memory the 100 twin is even firing and the nice looking 90 is odd? my 182 sounds really nice on the standard flex pipes from saito.

Japanese engines have always sounded nice especially in my homologated Datsun 240z and my Datsun 260z coupe. Mind you the turbo 6 in my Porsche (1974) was also nice but none repeat none beat the sound of 4 in sync Alison 501 or P&W 2000 (depending on whether it was a piston or gas turbine day). My Saito 56 (the first gold knight into OZ) is about to get a run. I bought it in 1997 (at Hong Kong hand over) and my mate is standing by with the insect spray (to kill the moths etc he expects to see come out at opening) and a bottle of bubbly to celebrate. It is going into a Word Mdels Nemesis ARF.

? I forgot how small and lightweight their body is compared to the oversized pigs that are labeled as sports cars these days.

Those light cars though present a different problem. Dont ever have a crash in them. Todays sport cars are designed to protect you, though that protection comes at the price of added weight. Now if I could only get airbags for my Saito powered planes the the hamster can survive.
