A few years ago we Moderators were told to download Photo Bucket pictures and then reload them as Finger nails, I hope they never work again. It doesn't make sense for a picture to take up a whole page by itself.

That's ridiculous. I frequent several other R/C forums, 2 bicycle forums, 2 garden tractor forums, a XC ski forum, a hunting forum, a Norton MC forum, several firearms forums, and several car related forums. THIS is the ONLY one that pushes that BS. They all encourage PB pictures as it "flows" better than the stupid antiquated thumbnails. If your site can't download PB sized PIX then you need better software. Why are FB pix, the same size or larger than FB pix, not converted to thumbnails?

I guess I will resort to what I did in the past, post on RCG and link the treads here. And, as far as "a few years ago" this particular topic was the only one tampering with my posts. Other topics here on RCU left them alone. It's the same old same old, certain individuals treating a club/site like it was their personal playground. I have seen more than one "sportsman/gun" club go down the tubes because oh that and the same can happen here.

I'm done posting any tech/how to threads on here. I will post on RCG and link them here.

Well maybe the photos should have stayed in the bucket but i'll go along on the consfishery theory. You say your on a norton motorcycle forum..i always thought the guys who built them way back hated me too.Flat out at night with the 6volt headlight out was exciting. Now stop whinging

ps and the tractor forums ain't helping you,not to mention three abreast cyclists yet re motorcycle riders and fast sweepers

OF you are bringing back memories for me. I remember visiting a little motorcycle accessory shop back in the mid seventies that shared space with a Norton/Triumph dealer. I loved looking at the bikes and dreaming. I had a little two cylinder Yamaha RD200 Electric at the time and wanted to but a fairing on it for winter riding. I picked one up at said shop and the owner/operator of the accessory shop made custom brackets to make it fit on the Yamaha. The fairing adapter kit was made for a 350 Honda, The fairing manufacturer didn't list the fairing as fitting my bike but it didn't stop us from installing it. The fairing worked quite well as still on the bike when I sold it 4 years later to by an English sportscar, Triumph of course.

Yep, it was a two stroke producing 7 Hp and tons of torque. You had to be careful when you popped the clutch and peeled out it would really set you back. It ran circles around a friend's CB350, it being 4 stroke. It had one bad habit if you didn't keep the RPM up above a certain level it would foul the left plug. I complained constantly to the idiots at the dealer and they couldn't come up with a solution until the warranty ran out and I would have to pay for it. I gave them a one finger reply when they asked if I wanted fixed. They would be the last shop I would use for maintenance on any bike.

All,

I have a Saito 82 in needed of rebuild. I need gaskets and bearing, a piston rod & keeper, rings etc. Is there a vendor that carries all of these items. I call Horizon and they have some items and said to me, send it in and they will do the repair. Thanks for the offer but I want to R&R the it myself. Any help in providing a vendor(S) that stock what I need would be appreciated.

Regards

Chuck

I usually pay $11.88 and free shipping, the .82 bearings are a little more pricey for some reason.
