All in one small , light package, as originally concieved. I have found the system quite practical.
Built around 1988 This is what I haul to the field and the flight line. No wheels,, light in weight, no fuel soaking, no extra bulk. There is a hefty AGM 12AH battery in the short side, below the mini glow panel. The two glow drivers are more than enough for a day or week end of flying, even with twins. My starters are powered with self contained, relay switched LiPo packs. The whole package has about the same footprint as a 1 gallon plastic jug. Weight is under 15 pounds. I secure the flightbox with a cargo hook restraint at the rear of my small SUV.. I also have a simple lead to plug into the cars electrical system that keeps the built in battery topped off and ready to use. I put this package in the car at the first flying day and it stays there all season.
The Sullivan will start up to a 91 easily and the geared starter, made from an electric scooter motor will start an 85cc gasser plus.

Made from a piece of good old Michigan Rock Maple that was cut in my back yard. You could easily fit TWO of these behind your passenger seat and have room to spare Practicality was job one...

Lonnie, I received the Carb today, thank you, but you didn't have to pay back the shipping, so I thank you for that too,
you know I still have that video of that Spitfire with the 100 Inline Twin in my head, and knowing it must weigh just over 10 pounds, and how fast it was and how well it climbed out with the 100iT, so I am now actually considering about putting my 82 in the mustang and the 100 in the VQ P-40.
I figured the Mustang would only do around 85, 90 with the 100, but as you and the others say it should do around 110, even 80 would be enough for what I was looking for.

hey guys, see how this Spitfire jumps off the ground with the Saito FA100 in it, my VQ P-40 is lighter than the H9 Spitfire and should come in right at 10 pounds, I don't think it really needs my 115 in it

here's the VQ Mig 3, a .46 size plane (as they call it) with a 62" span and the Sato 82 mounted in it, a very good match,,
ARF so it's not so scale. according to the numbers it's some 2 pounds lighter than my P-40, but we can't always trust numbers can we,, according to VQ's site my P-40 should come in at 8 pounds on the heavy side, I don't believe it, I'm betting more like10 pounds.

The Dago Red is a little slicker airframe than my H9 P51 so you may get some decent speed with a 12x7 or 8 without sacrificing too much. Just my thoughts.

my world model’s .46 P51 was clocked at 110mph with a Rossi 60 and a 13-6.
I think I should be able to get around the same numbers with a 12-10 and my 65 with big carb if I can turn that at 10,000 in the air.

Ah ha!
They try to keep you Saito worshipers in total darkness I see! Not an unheard of tactic among the charismatic religions.
I know when I mention those letters, the Saints and Bishops of ancient Saitoism howl out loud and cry for my banishment from their places of worship, or worse .

Presently looking for a new or nearly new OS-95V. Have any of several Saitos of similar value to choose from. Perhaps a new in box FA-91 or a very nice,but used Saito FA-125?
