hey Pete, you know, today I just sold my 2, new, never used OS "smelly" Heli carbs, but when I got back in the car from cashing the money order I looked at me wife and she had her hand out, you know, easy come easy go.

I just don’t think I can follow this group anymore.
with all these two letter cuss words It’s really getting annoying and I’m finding it very offensive for someone who lives and breathes Saito engines, Well at least like them a whole bunch.

Absolutely
No need to be limited by someone else's bad experience. My experience with YS goes waaaay back to the late 1970s, about the same time as I bought that cobby, tinny little open rocker Saito 30.
Even back then, the YS quality was outstanding. The fit, finish and engineering are second to no one.

Agreed, the fit and finish of my 91AC is just as good, better in some regards, as any of the 4 strokes I've worked on. The engineering is superb.
On the other hand the end user needs to, has to even, know more about the theories of IC engine operation to tune and debug them. It's not enough to just turn a couple of needles and to keep valve lash adjusted. Supercharging ads new elements that work in tandom to squeeze peak performance from a 4 stroke therefore defects causing performance problems are at times not easily identifiable.
That said, a good running YS supercharged engine is a joy to run and there are plenty of testimonials regarding its durability.
Planes equipped with YS supercharged engines can be said to be imo the polar opposite of electric powered planes where maintainance and debugging are concerned. Either you enjoy tinkering with them as I do, or you don't.
I have never advocated one engine or prop manufacture above another. We're big boys and can choose what works for us. It's all good, no need to oppress.

The longer you run them, the less you find yourself twiddling them.
The 91-110-115 series AC engines I have run were set in the spring, fuel components pulled, cleaned and stored in the fall . Back to spring and repeat. Very little, if any twiddling at all in flying season. Pressurize the tank with a few flips, open the carb for a couple more. Turn on the glow power and a thumb to forefinger back flip of the spinner at high idle and it starts. You can slam the throttle forward and fly it or walk away and marvel at the low, steady idle until the fuel is gone.

BTW, I'm not a needle twiddler, more of a set it and forget it kinda guy.

I just rebuilt a Saito 120 Dual Plug engine. I am looking for the muffler that goes to it. It is a long cylindrical muffler with a 14mm thread. Is there any source for old Saito parts?

Super Tigres were my favorite engines before I outgrew 2 strokers altogether. Still have one frozen in a block of ice in our deep freeze. It is (was) a brand new X-40 RIRE pylon engine.
Just mixed another batch of fuel. Same as last batch this Spring, 14 gallons. So, if all goes well we will have burned 28?gallons before winter hits. Biggest engine this year were the Saito 82s.
Gave all that 30% Wildcrap Fuel to my Heli Buddy, also named Gary but he hasn't been around much. Seems quite a few are in fear if the Fauci manufactured Flu and are hiding in their cellars.

Rather than go to work with my face behind a Fauci freak mask all day, I just walked away. Maybe when folks quit swallowing all the Chinese Epidemic Inc stuff, I will pick up another job or two.

Yessir, just pick a day and come on out. Lunch is on me. If I can, I will bring Super Buildef Dave out that day. He no longer builds or flies but has a basement full of nice, big planes. His Traveaire Mystery Ship would love a big radial on the nose!
