This will be my next 25 sized plane for my extra Saito 30. An Old School 56. Of course mine will get a bolt on wing.

Bolt-on wing? That would make it a New School!
How about a nice Webra .32 on the nose?

Gary I have a Webra SliverLine 40, an LA 25 and a Webra Speed 40 with a Dykes ring.

Okey, thanks for reminding me where the 56 came from.

I have their Robin Hood 25 in the bones.

These little guys at 18 oz/in. are perfect for the 25 sized planes.

Sure did, nothing against other people using them. I even make exceptions and use one now and then.
Just happen to have a few Webras that I hate to throw away.

I've been known to throw my little Super Tiger .34 in a .25 size max plane. Not much faster, but the climb is very impressive. The plastic engine mounts are virtually identical at the fire wall and the balance barely changes, so little as to be ignored.

Yessiree,
I always admired the Webras. Like RC pornography.

The cylinder head looks a little different from the one I have. Early model perhaps?

since we are talking 2st.
here are the photos of my 2st beauties. all engines have never been run. but I plan to run them all this summer. some in the air and all on the stand. I need to buy some Castrol because the HP and K&B are recommended to run 50/50 oil for their brake in.
K&B 100 Aro ABC.
OS 70SZ Heli engine with the head cut down for use in a plane.
HP 61 GCRI ABC. w/the Accelerator Pump Carb.
HB 61 PDP.

Nice stuff Jim, I have a brand new HB .61 PDP in the box as well as the HB 40 "Blitz" model.
Not a pretty as those HP engines but very durable workhorses.

I simply don't run 2 stroke/cycle engines any more.

(Aside from the Fuji ex-gasser that I converted to methanol last week. That one is on an RCM Super Sportster.)

That would work well but a GK Saito 50 or 56 would look really nice in that.

That K&B 100 looks sharp. Didn’t those come with an inverted muffler? The HP 61 looks like a ducted fan engine.

Hey hey all. Hope you all had a good holiday and great start to the new year.

Curious if anyone has ran two saito 60t in a twin plane and what plane was it. I am doing some weight checks and figuring a 13-15lb plane is probably the most I can get two saito 60t to pull.

Thanks

I found two jewels among my two strokes, the Fox 50 is not broken in there may be 30 minutes on it. It wears a Kavan carb. The Fox 25 was flown one flight on a Telemaster 20 in 1990. The Como is ready to run, it just needs a Swing muffler.

The shorter fat lifter is for a 120 Fat Head, the longer is for all but the big blocks.

Como 40 with Super Tigre Swing header.
