Check your photo file names and see what they are. The ones above are probably .jpg the ones that won't display maybe a unsupported file type such as .png. You can use a program like Paint to convert them.

I had a very interesting day yesterday, we're having a TOC contest all this week, today is the final day. I met and visited with folks from Switzerland, Italy, Australia and Israel and many others from here. My guess is that 90% were powered by DA engines. Frank Noll was there, sadly his jet caught fire and plunged into corn field from about 400' straight up Also, I ran into Don Czur, a long ago friend when we flew together with the Pohick Pilots at Ft. Belvoir, Va. in the 90's. A great day for me. No Saito's flying though.

But yeah, I wouldn't expect to see any 4 strokes at an aerobatic contest where large format planes are generally used and power/weight ratio is of the utmost importance.

the joke is on me. again. I was going to fly this coming weekend. but the spinner I received today is made for a "reverse running engine". there was no info telling me this on the site or on the package. they must of known about this! most likely they just want to unload them and take a chance people would not complain.
it is a BenchCraft 82mm spinner, a 3" is too small and a 3&1/2" is too large. it was the only 82mm 2 blade spinner I could find. got from "MotonRC". yes it was made in China. this hobby can be so frustrating at times.

hey guys. I had 2 WW11 warbird fly right over my house today.. I couldn't tell what the sound was cause I couldn't hear it till it was just about over my house. it was in a tight, banked left turn. so by the time I got to the window all I saw was Olive Green in the trees. so I don't know what they were. we have had a B17 come a few times and some 15 years ago we had a P-40 come with a B-25. my son went up 2 years ago in a B17.
well, for today, boy oh boy she was low! right over my house and I could tell she must have had 4 engines. but I could tell there was another plane with it because I could hear it lag behind the louder plane.
LOL a way off the topic side-note here; my wife had to pick up my 2.6y.o. granddaughter at preschool today. the little thing had sandles on. my wife told her that she should wash her feet when she gets home. the little thing say "I can lick them clean" LOL, she had a big smile going when my wife looked up into her eyes! LOL.
you see, yesterday she dripped Yogurt on her toe. and before my daughter could wipe it up she licked it off. and last night she heard my daughter tell that story to my wife on the phone LOL.

Surely there's one in there Pete, I met a really nice couple from your Country last week at our ITOC-2. There were no crashes, although one guy took out the wind sock which in turn took out his main gear. He did a nice belly landing.

Last year there was a flight of 4 P-51 mustangs flying near me, they were doing formation practice, and did a full loop, and one of the planes had the gear come down and had to break away to land at the nearby airport. What a sight to see and sound to hear.

the thing is, the MotionRC site uses the same "Contact Page" as Towers/Horizon" so I'm guessing the spinner came from Towers. it's been over 2 days since I PM'ed the site and I have had NO Email telling me they received the PM. I guess I will have to send another PM.
EDITED; I called. they received my PM.

a Glue View;
guys. thought I would tell you about this foam glue I bought for gluing up foam for air ducts. it's named "Felt & Foam Tacky Glue" it's thick and very sticky, oops, very tacky!, you can use it on wood if wanted. you can spread it around easily. it sticks LOL. I tested it by gluing two 1/4 stock and boy is it strong. but I will test it again but overlap the wood by only 1/4" to see how that holds. you really have to let it set over night to get full strength. if you spread it thin it will be all most clear when dried.
I used it to glue some foam on the inside of the ShoeString's cowl to keep more passing air on the engine's head. the thing is> 2 hours after I did the gluing I had the thought>>>>>> LOL "how well is this glue going to hold up from the heat from the engine, will it melt?" LOL I guess we will find out LOL. it seams strong so it can be used in the hobby, but if you use it too thick as a filler it will shrink some. tested that too I did.
you can see the glue bottle in my link here.

Quite a few years ago the local ANG base was hosting an air show about five miles away from our club field. (Selfridge ANG Base near Mt Clemens MI and the Fraser RC Club)
I had to decide between sitting in line for a few hours or just going to the field for a good day of flying. The day of flying won out.
Turns out, the vintage warbirds chose a flight path that passed right over our field.
The very plane in your video made several low and slow passes near directly overhead. It also had a P-51 flying right up alongside. In addition there were several other warbirds.
Of course we simply landed our toys, ordered pizza, sat back and took in the sights and sounds.

more on that glue;
well guys, the glue is strong. but if you use it don't use it where it will get hot. I took my covering iron and set it to Hi and heated both sides of the wood I glued, the wood was pretty hot but wouldn't burn your fingers. but the glue soften and I pulled the 2 pieced apart. I think it will be ok inside my cowl because I never felt a cowl as hot as I had the wood. I sure will keep an eye or 2 on it.
in the photo you can see where I installed foam. I have some thin balsa under the foam to move the foam closer to the top of the head's fins. I filled up a good 1/4" of space, and I sill have a good 1/4" between the top of the fins and the foam.
another thing to remember. this is a Smelly 2st Heli engine and I turned down the diameter of the rectangle Heli head, but the fins are deeper than they are on a plane's engine.
BTW, as said a few times. it's a 60 size plane and the cowl is a 40 size cowl. the slot on the bottom of the cowl had to be cut so big to allow me to get the cowl around the home made muffler.
EDIT; you can see a dimple on the muffle down by the weld. I have to mill it flat, drill and tap it for the fuel tank pressure line.
