I like the APC 14x4W much better than the 15x4 on my .82.

It might boil down to how each prop works on YOUR plane, with YOUR flying style. The only real way to know is to try them to see how you like them.

yes i think i know what you mean, i had a 12x3.75 on an o.s. 50 and it spooled up real nice and quick! not to mention it was also getting 12600 rpm!

Ken6ppc What plane are you flying with the Saito 82? I have invested heavy in APC props mostly the W lately there great! They don't take a ground strike but there great. The MAS has several different props you can get the same low end torque out of and they do take a ground strike or two maybe, much cheaper. Master Airscrew "Scimitar" 14x6 6.62 on Tower the APC 14x4W 11.99 I flew in Hamilton OH. every now and then at the GCRCC or something like that!

I run a 14x4w on the .82 tachs 11,000
Im going to try the Scimatar soon as it actually does good on my electrics.

GCRCC? That is HOME to me! (Greater Cincinnati Radio Controlled Club) I also fly at HAWKS club in Joyce Park.

I am using the 14x4W and the .82 on my Fusion and my Showtime 50. I also have an .82 on a Pulse, but it doesn't have enough ground clearance for a 14" prop. On that one, I use a 13x8 MAS. It isn't a 3D plane anyway, and I fly it faster.

And, what do you mean, "ground strike" with a prop? I have NEVER done that..... [sm=red_smile.gif]

Hi there

I made a new home for my Saito 150GK, its a Graupner Sea Fury with 1660mm span - flying weigth with fuel around 4,8 kg. Its made for the OS FS120-P, but the Saito 150 is actually lighter :-). I use a Turbo header muffler, and my last test gave me 8500 rpm on a APC 17x8 Narrow and 16% nitro.

I want the model to be fast, and still able to do big loopings - What prop should I use ????

I have a Seagull Edge 540 46 ARF and I am not sure about installing a Saito 100 or a Saito 125. I want to fly IMAC. I live 2600 meters above sea level. Wich one would be the best engine?

any suggestions for 3 and 4 blade props for the 1.15?

am mounting it in a BH Spitfire
Specs say wingspan 71" weight 8.8 lbs.
Not sure if they mean 8.8 all up or just the airframe. Not a wole lot of info available.

The three-bladed 14x9 seems the best for my 1.25.
I'd imagine the 14x7 would be good for the 1.15.

Still hoping to hear from someone that used 3 blades on a .91, but there only seems to be two choices, 12x8 or 13x8, so I might as well buy them both.
