That would have been post number 18431 on 15 Oct 2010.

As was said before, you have to read the posts to find when your number comes up. There is no formal notification.

I flew the .91 with the new cam/crank and the mysteriously missing camshaft bushing. Ran wonderfully. I might as well buy some of the shims if they ever get back in stock and add one later if I ever get back inside of the engine. I am sure I will, I love tinkering with my Saitos.

I keep changing the answer on which of my 6 saitos is my favorite. But the .91 sure is a great engine. Great fuel economy, gobs of power, very low vibration.

I never owned the 100, which is probably the most popular saito. Can it really be better than the .91?

I think the .72 is another under-appreciated Saito.

Does anyone know the sales numbers for Saitos?

Glad to hear you think highly of the Saito .72; I just repaired one (with the help of all the wonderful experts on this forum) and I am building a Great Planes P-51 Mustang (.40 size) kit as a home for the Saito .72.
I'm thinking it will be a good match.

The 100 has a lot more torque than the 91

I agree about the 72. They sound really good when wide open.

My favorite is probably the 56.

Mike, with the straight cut spur gears you'r never know if you left both of those shims out. Helical cut gears would be a problem with the shim missing.

It might be 6 months before this shows up at Horizon. Saito announces things before they get the actual production started.

Kostas1: You are missing the spring clip for the needle valve. Try Horizon Hobbies and look for Saito 150 parts.

Second item from the left is the clip that you need. Don't know if you can order just the clip or will need to order the complete package. Good luck.

Interesting...I looked on the Horizon Hobby site and could not find the part listed, even though I know the part to which you refer.
I found an image of an FA-125 which shows the spring clip:

If you look at the needle valve in this image, you can see the black spring clip that keeps the needle valve in place after adjustment.
The spring clip attaches to the base of the carb.
I searched the Horizon Hobby parts list for this engine and I was unable to find the part...I even looked at the large and small engine .pdf files and they do not list that part on the exploded view!

That does not appear to be a brand new engine, the nut against the carb body has been wrenched on.

I can't believe somebody would assemble a carb without the needle clip. I have now seen it all!
