Yep....feeling the same way. I’m going to give it a bit more time as I realize the virus has stopped pretty much everything and I’m trying to remain positive. But not too much more time!!

I have received information from the T-One representation for the Europe.
"The model is ready and waiting to be shipped. The capacity for air shipping is limited and there are long waiting queues for large goods which have no priority."
Small shipments are transported virtually unchanged. Last week, I received two Chinese packages. On the way I have one package from US / New Jersey /. ***winter***

Just got an email update from Dirk. Sounds like nothing is coming into the US that isn’t medical supplies.. no way to get the jets in yet... gotta wait it out.

In all honesty, this is really low on my concern list right now.. it gets here when it gets here, more concerned with everyone staying healthy. I’m just providing the update cause I have the info.

Truth. I enjoy my hobbies but safety is best right now. I am not going to the flying field or leaving unless essential. Everyone be safe .

Couldn't agree more. Just hopeful that we can all keep our families safe through this mess. Everything else is secondary.

Our Government in the Czech Republic has ordered hard measures from the outset. People help each other, everyone is disciplined. We manage to keep covid19 at bay /for the time being/. The curve showing the rate of infection is flat linear. In most other countries the curve is classic pandemic with a steep climb. I wish you all a lot of health. Hopefully we can keep it. ***winter***

If you didn’t have yet.....It’s going to be much much longer before you see it.....

I’m pretty sure there’s more serious thing to ship on the reduce flights then a RC Plane......and yes I’m waiting for 2 from different places....i might not have them this year it’s life.

It looked like winter waited around 6 months is why I thought that. I own a lithium battery business and I can't get my orders in because UPS has stopped shipments for now. But I hope they might be back up again next month. In the mean time. T-1 is in there new building now and should be building jets again, so I think that part of the equation will keep moving forward. Shipping will catch up when they start up again. Hoping sooner rather then later lol

Hey Guys
Finally got around to starting my T1 build. Started on the wings and just a heads up. While installing the wing servos the servo hatch fell apart. Bad glue joint between the servo hatch and it’s internal structure. The counter shrunk screws pull through and will not hold the internal structure and servo in place. If this happened in flight best case you would lose that aileron or flap, worst case flutter or airframe loss. I re-epoxied the hatch and internal structure ,used larger washers instead of the counter shrunk screws ( it’s on the underside of the wing and I don’t care) to make sure it holds. Might be worth checking

Hello.. Can you send me photos so we can have this addressed at the factory? I would wic thin CA around the frame work to make sure they are all secure.

Sure thing
I will take some pictures
By the way none of this was meant to imply poor construction, just a potential weak point I noticed and the way I choose to rectify it

I understand, i just want to make sure that the factory knows so they can address it. This is a critical point that need to be secure.. Thank you for bringing it up...

You will love that jet! Let me know if you have any questions during your build

1st pic is the internal hatch structure, 2nd is the hatch structure that separated. And third is my use of socket head cap screws and washers ( just in case) The counter sunk screws while good looking are not meant to hold the pieces together and will go right through the hatch structure. I did check all of the other hatches and they were all securely glued. Really like the jet, looking forward to getting it in the air I will definitely have a few questions for you.

Thanks
Matt

Nice....you should try the Intairco filer as well....

If you ever want a better telemetry.......not requiring the screen (GSU) for start the Digitech CTU is great as well....

If I will not try Digitech CTU in T1 Fortune, then definitely in the next Jet. ***winter***

Default T1 weight

What weight are you guys coming up with. Mine has a K120, smoke, electrons, equipment deck, mks777’s and its coming out at around 30lbs, seems kinda heavy.

Thanks for the input

Mine is 34#s. OEM wire harness, K-160, Powerbox, nav lights with it own 2000mah battery, two 4000 mah 2s LiPos in the nose, 2100 Mah 3S LiFe above nose wheel. No smoke pump. Use that tank for extra fuel = 12-14 minute flights. The wings are fairly heavy. But for 34#s, it flies great with a 160 and it sticks its landings.

mine is 31# dry. K160 with smoke pump, PB Mercury SRS. Flies very light though, K160 is overkill but I like the extra juice
