Hello Anton, thanks a lot for the ordnance picture.
The above scheme is the one I have ordered, can you send a picture of this scheme but with weathering applied ?
I'm not sure I like it that much but maybe with the weathering it's better ?

Hi.
I am waiting for mine.....

But...... Could somebody out there try to explain to me why there are no servos on the canards?

Why is this system with dampers better than controlling them with servos? There must be some reason?

The angle of canards on full scale Su-30 are controled by the fly control computer which reads data of AOA, air speed.....then deflects canards to generate high energy vortex for main wings and vertical fins . It's not just simply follow stick input.
We have no such complicate fly control computer in our RC model, but in this full scale video:
We can find the canards basically followed the airflow (the leading edge point to wind), so they are looked like a pair of AOA indicators. Use two dampers connecting canards is the simplest way to make our RC SU-30 looked like the real thing.

Default Weight

Hello,

@Anton
What is the empty weight of the SU (just GFK parts)?

Or is there a light Version for a weight under 25kg ready to fly?

Anton

You have any Sukoi flying with smaller turbines? 28kh dry weight i think 2 - P180 will be amazing performance?
and the fuel tank... how big is the rear tank and the front tank?
