Well, got a little done on the retract, the mains are bolted in, took a lot of dremel work, but there not hitting the side, now I'm cutting the slots for nose gear, here some pics.

Ok, got a lot more done, on the F-16, finish up the back half section, that hold 5 servo, two elevators, two ailerons and one rudder, the rudder was the hardest to finish, with the servo inside the rudder, the ailerons servo took some time, but it's done, once I finish up the nose gear, I can set it on the wheels and bolt the two section together. Then come bolting the turbine in place. Getting pretty close to a taxi run.

I think my biggest challenge is going to be the gear doors, I may use a Linear servo, but to make it easy, air cylinder.

Well, all servo wire ran, just bolted the turbine in, looking at the wires, box, ic board, would love to put everything up front for weight, but the cable are to short, I hate to add weight up front.

Wow, getting there, all wires, fuel lines, cable ran, need to run retract air lines from the mains, to the front, then I can set the three tanks in the fuselage, learn the throttle to the ecu, spool up the turbine, test solenoid valves, ran the fuel pump, my ix12 spekrum radio, has a sequencer built in, may use it, now to cleanup the front board.

Time to cleanup the front board, I remove the regulator, to make room for the uat tank, and forgot, the steering servo is 6volt, well I smell smoke, going to remove the nose gear to replace the servo, with a 7.4 hitec 7954sh servo, well the board is starting to look better.

Ok, guys the main retracts are not locking in place, to the gear solid ?, I see other manufacturers use a air cylinder to lock there ?, I sent Catherine at feibao a email asking how the bar Supposed to lock on it's own, the bar do have plate, I guess I can move it back or forward, to see if that help to lock the bar.

Sorry, I love the tiger meet, every time I go to a jet meet, you see the same old military scheme, I'm not much on military color.

Well got a lot done, was able to start up the Jetcat P160se and taxi around, no leaks, all three tank drain perfect, figure out the locking bars on the main retract, well back to work.

So did you figure out the locking bars or still have to do that?

Yes, me and my friend larry, flip the f-16 over on a stand and start playing with the locking bar, moving it forward and back, it really lock in place when moving the gear forward, and moving the plates forward, one main gear has about 2mm more play then the other side, I guess I can live with that.

Well, maybe not, might just use a better servo arm, the one I made was not accurate, my friend has a 3D cutter, and he made a Prototype of what I need, a lot more better made, going to use a 20mm round servo arm, with a piece of hard wood mill down, should be strong, found out, always check and tighten all screw on your retract, I found 5 screws loose, I lock tight them down.

I was looking over my nosegear and noticed that the aluminum steering arm is not secured to the nylon pinion gear that turns the strut left and right when extended, as well as rotate the gear when retracting it. The arm is kind of slid over the nylon gear with nothing preventing it from "slipping" when the steering servo moves the arm. Is your gear the same way? I contacted Catherine about it but haven't gotten an answer other than her colleagues told her that there's no correlation between the nylon gear and aluminum steering arm.
