RE: 2008 the year of the Turbinator
Tha laser cut parts from Laser Designs S. are fitting in place as expected, perfect!!! It has been a few years since I build anything, it feels sooooooooooo gooooooood, I have forgotten how much I enjoy doing this. I can put thogether a jet in no time but building is a lot more rewording ( in my oppinion ).
Thank you Bob and Ronnie. [sm=thumbup.gif][&:]

Nick, that is going to be some sick jet, it will for sure make you look good hombre . That will be a negative, no Fresno for me this year or Ohio with Tam, have to travel to DEN Sunday for a week of classroom trainning, back on Friday then more building [&:] , too many things to take care of and also I don't have a jet ready.

Cars, Thanks so much for the great photo's. This has really been a help. I knew when I got into turbines I would have Nick's Turbinator early on and think he has outdone himself on this one. I have a Shock now just to get in the air fast but this one will be my next. I'm betting as well that 09 we will see more of the Turbinators out here. It's next on the bench and will do the new two Pc. wing mod. Just as soon as Nick has them will order one. thanks to all who contributs to this thread it;s one great help.

I have a short kit and plan in hand, but do not plan to get it done until next year. Instead of just building a stock Turbinator, I plan to make a sport scale warbird out of it, the TS-11 Iskra. Some rounding, nose mods, and different canopy, should make it no problem to get the right look. Add a warbird paint scheme and I think it will look pretty good. Here are some photos for those who don't know what the Polish jet looks like.

Todd,
You took the words right out of my mouth. I too was wanting to find something to do to the stock kit. What makes this plan that Nick drew is the fact that you CAN do diff things to it and it has the foundation to make it so. You have picked a good one. Let us know how you do and even consider doing a build thread on it.

My plans came today. The lazer lizard kit should arrive any day now. I will get started soon after. I will be using an amt 180 and propbably retracts from dreamworks.
