Default Want to buy complete 1/16 Heng Long Pz III Ausf H turret, gun etc

Hi all.
As the title says, I'd like to buy a complete Panzer III Ausf H turret. I've seen it advertised with the hull, but I really just want the complete turret, including barrel, cupola, BB, wiring etc for a v7.0 hull.
Does anyone have one for sale?
TIA

If it was me I think I would call imex just to see if they have one, but ever since Erik left things haven't been the same down there.

IMEX is www.taigentanks.com

I posted a response over at RC Tank Warfare (Gary's favorite place...lol) also so you will get an answer one way or another.

Are you in the US? I have one I'm not using. I was thinking of making it a turret bunker, but of course I have too many projects as it is. I've never taken it apart, but it is wired for 360 via a slip ring. Only has one little issue with the commander's hatch. One side of the hinges is broken as shown in the last pic.

Turret came from this guy:

Also have a set of metal sprockets and idlers as I converted my SU-76i to use an early set of sprockets/idlers:

Just for the record, I have no problem with RCTW, it's actually a really good forum, it's a couple of the moderators there that I had a problem with. You give some people a little power and it goes straight to their head.

And when I suggested imex I meant that you would have to call them to see if they have one of these stashed somewhere. This is not an item that will appear on their website. If Erik was still there it would be no problem, but I have no idea who to talk to down there since he left. I need to call down there and see if I can establish a relationship with whoever took Erik's place.

OK, thanks.
I'm in Australia, so phone call is not likely.
Tankme has one he might sell. I'll run with that for now.
Thanks again
Cheers

Have you checked out Kevin Grannum (sp?) at RC Tanks Australia? I haven't spoken with him for a very long time so I'm not sure what he's up to right this minute, but he used to be heavily into RC tanks and had a lot of great products.

Oh, I know Gary. I was around on that forum when it all happened and I was just razzing you about it. I probably wouldn't have reactivated my account if that happened to me either.

I am not too sure IMEX will be able to help because they deal in Taigen and our hero is after a Heng Long turret suitable for a V7 control board.

We're looking for the turret from an HL tauchpanzer, right? You'd be amazed at some of stuff in that warehouse, and I imagine they have at least one of those stashed. Bill even has a 1/6 Sherman hiding in there somewhere. I really need to call them and see if I can establish a connection with whoever took Erik's place.

If I were you I think I would call or email motion RC. They sell that tank so it's possible they might have one that was damaged or returned and they might be willing to sell you just the turret.

3849 is the tank number.
Don't go out of your way for me - I have a couple of options I can pursue.
Having said that, it would be handy to know .....
Thanks

Matomart has the turret and upper hull for $65, plus however much they want for shipping from Canada, and that's probably about the best you'll find. You might check rcdynasty on ebay (that's matomart's ebay store) because they just might have one, but again, shipping is gonna be outrageous.

Thanks for that, but Matomart's price for international shoppers is US$71.50, and postage to Australia is horrendous. It would come close to the cost of a complete tank by the time I get it.
The German site - rcpanzer.de? is pretty much the same.
Cheers
