you see the thread of "Royal Chris"?
The mate ,who build that Boomi is me. .Last year i lost that Plane because of to less Speed in a corner . The Engine was a Little to small, at that time there was a "Saito FG 84" in it. too less for 17 KG. But after the Boomi was before the Boomi. So i decided to build another alittl bigger with an rel Engne.
I startet at the End of Septemper last year by zooming the Plan and building the Elevator

I like to build in Wood, and of course, it´s not my first model . The green stuff is a Special foam with glass on both sides. As hard as Plywood , but a Little lighter, and more expensive. I made some Things other then the first. So devide the wing Center section from the fuselage, for Storage and Transport, make the Tail complete removable, for better handling.. We have her in Germany the 25 kg Limit(with fuel) so this is not easy to do. And now, it is almost ready, i´m looking where i can threw out some gramms
.

Warbird, I am getting an invalid link connection. Are the photos available on RCNetwork as well? What is the link to the Warbirdforum? For those wishing to access Warbirdforum one has to register and if you use Chrome you can easily get the registering page converted to English.

Hello Reuben,

i see that the Fotos are invalid, what is the Mistake?
In "warbirdforum" they are all to see. In rc Network i didn´t wright , only looking, sometimes.
Today was the first time , the Boomi was outside for the first Engine run, and it was great. The Maiden flight but is in some weeks, maybe, when the weather is good.

The weight is nearly 25 kg with gasoline, and i have to look that i bring some Gramms out, so i decide to through out the smoke System, the servo for the cooling flaps, make a new seat out of depron and so on

Hi Warbirdcharly,

Thanks for the link.

I actually wrote to Chris to see if I could get a kit but he says he will not be doing any more.

Your model is fantastic.
