Welcome to the RC world bud!

You can use the stock R.S. remote withe the hobby grade ESC and receiver. The brushed type ESC's will plug in to a Futaba type receiver, no modifications necessary....

I would suggest you do a Hobby grade electronics installation on your R.S. Golden Arrow Buggy. More speed, increased reliability and more fun. The stock electronics board is limited to mild mod 540...
