Although this wing was designed for retracts, I am modifying these for fixed gear, because my current fuse plug is designed only for fixed gear. (And, that is one less thing to go wrong when reliability is the key for successful racing seasons.). But to make it up to the scale aficionados, I am trying scale split flaps for the first time.

Two new scale wings after fiberglassing the center section (right and middle). On the left, is a wing "Frankensteined"/cannibalized from two older hand-cut prototype wings that were previously crashed. On one wing, the right panel survived; and, on the other wing, the left panel survived. My original prototype wings were stretched-out four inches from true scale.
