It looks like I have enough stitching from Scale Rib Stitch left to do the tail and the tops of the wings. I wish this guy was still making this product as it is a great time saver over individually applying the stitches. When I get to the wings I will have to decide if I need to do the bottoms since they won't be seen. If I do I'll use fishing line glued on.

since these aren't pinked I am cutting my own strips from some Top Flite FabriKote that I was given several rolls of. I have never used this product before but it seems to work very well, It seems very similar to some Oratex that I have used before. I think that I have 4 or 5 rolls so I may do a full plane with it at some time.

Fokker dr-1 had a bad landing when the engine died. These don't glide so just point the nose down and try to keep up the airspeed until landing. need to make new wing struts.
