Adam, the retracts are the Robart Ziroli 1/5 Texan gear but with longer Robostrut legs. In theory they should be strong enough but unproven as yet! The retraction and fit into the wheel well is...

Mick, by the time the field dries out enough to use the plane will probably be painted and fully weathered!!! But if the sun comes out and she's ready to fly then yep, it will be just as it is out...

Another year almost over and the Boomerang is inching closer to flight. It's now sitting up on wheels - fixed u'carriage for the time being. The balance came out really well, not particularly taily...

Just to clarify, the wings PLUGS are being made in foam, the actual wings will be hollow composites. And the pics which for some reason didn't happen the first time.
