Congratulations on the Maiden.... Ok Now comes the Questions... What was your CG? Did you use try or use any flap?

I bet you can get 8-10 minute flights with the excess power that you have...

The first pic there showed the trust line I used. the motor are not in line with each other . The rear engine is a little higher. The front thrust line I figured straight down the fuse or 90 degrees...

Yes it would. The firewall is 8.75" on the ESM 190-D.. the laseris 3.89" from center for crank.....

Use the whole wing. It all flying surfaces.27% is a little nose heavy. You could always use 30% if you like..

i use that calculator before i fly any of the ESM birds. put about 27% for the MAC and you should be good...

Those are some 4" aluminum spinners I have had for a while. They have a spun backplate...They are$30


I wish i had a machined backplate for them....

Jeff,
I am guessing the final wieght of this plane will push 26-30 lbs.. The fuse ny itself is about 8lbs the motors/batteries your looking at 10lbs at least. then you add wings and stuff..

I have not had time to do any work yet really busy getting an order of cockpits ready. to ship. Also trying to finish out the 335 cockpit. Its all painted just need to finish the video and take pics....

Dj The pilots are no longer made . You really have to look to find these. Sometimes on Ebay... i really am not sure what gas it would be equal to..

There is a guy flying a ASM B-17 with his setup with all the batteries and speed controls in the center section of the fuse and long wires out to the motors and he is having no problems. His wires...

I have this same setup in a 18lbs Me 109. It has plenty of power. It turns a 21x10 APC prop at about 6000 rpm. I am getting 6-8 minute flights with good throttle management. On the Do335 2 of these...

I think you will have better than 1 to 1 power. You will be cruising around at about 1/2 throttle most of the time...

I am working on the instrument panel right now.. Sorry mine will not be as detailed as that one . Can't pull that out of plastic. Trying to make it one piece.. Anyway.....
